Today we’re going to talk about the college locker room pictures. We currently have two college sports covered by our locker room picture, basketball and football (look for action pictures to soon follow!). Both pictures feature three jerseys in a locker room, a jersey in the center with its back facing us and a jersey on either side with the fronts facing us. The jersey in the center features a “last name” however there is no option to change the number on the jersey. This is because college players are not paid for their sports participation and if you were to order this picture with a current player’s number and name and they signed this piece of art it would be a direct violation of the NCAA rules governing player paid performance. Therefore the NCAA chooses a number not currently being used by a player thus avoiding this possible problem before it happens. This is the same reason why the jerseys on either end are facing forward. If they were to face backwards you would be able to see the players name and thus a possible NCAA violation with signing the picture. You do have the ability to personalize the name plate above the jersey. It defaults to “#1 Recruit” but usually our customers like to change it to the first initial and last name of the person the picture is for (for example John Smith would have a name plate of J. Smith). If you have a college sports fan at home you are sure to score big with these great college personalized pictures from nameintheframetx.com
